What Sets Us Apart From Mass Manufactured Products...

THE PROCESS:

* Each piece of first quality white pine is cut to size and sanded smooth. A base coat of Old Village paint is                 applied and allowed to dry.
* The piece is then stenciled and/or hand painted and allowed to dry.
* For primitive signs/woodcrafts, each is then distressed then gently antiqued and allowed to dry
* FOR SOME INDOOR PIECES, one coat of Satin Indoor Polyurethane is applied and allowed to dry
   FOR OUTDOOR PIECES, three coats of Exterior Satin Polyurethane are applied allowing drying time                     between each coat
* Finally, the appropriate means to hang each item is added

About Us...

Details and Design was started in October 2013 by Sherri Hirschboeck.

Sherri has over 30 years experience in organizing, stenciling, and creating.

                  She is a registered dental hygienist, practicing for 27 years before leaving dentistry to                                                                homeschool her daughter and enjoy creating.

                  Sherri's favorite job is being a Mom. She created Details and Design to spend fun time

            creating with her family. We hope you can see the passion and caring in each of our creations.
